Modesty Matters ADULT size patterns include darts in the bodice. Besides the obvious size difference, darts are the ONLY difference between the assembly of an adult size dress and a child size dress.

It is important to note, however, that darts are OPTIONAL. If you choose to ignore the darts, the pattern still works as is for the Colonial Costume Dress, Classic Jumper and Everyday Dress.

For the A-Line dress, you will need to add 2" to the waist of the skirt IF you are choosing to ignore the darts.

No worries, either way! We SHOW you, in the above free online video, how to do these simple darts in a step-by-step manner, as is our customary approach to making sewing simple. Simply register to have the printable instructions emailed to you.
